Welcome chez Audrey & Guillaume
The History of Our Home
In the 1930s, the lemonade maker Lucien Bonnafoux bought the two oldest buildings on the property. He had a magnificent house built in the pure style of modern architecture and set up his business in what was then called "the shop". The "limonadiers de Cournonterral" were born.
In 2010, Audrey and Guillaume bought the premises, a place untouched for 80 years. It was a fixer-upper, but the soul of the property was still intact. Audrey is an actress who trained in architecture and design. She is passionate about decoration and loves to bargain-hunt. Guillaume is a professional baker and pâtissier who has also worked for many years in construction. He has the technical knowledge, the savoir-faire, that was needed to begin the renovation. Throughout the process, Audrey expertly guided Guillaume’s steady hand so that their B&B could explore material, space, and color. From carpentry to plumbing and electricity, Audrey and Guillaume have spent more than 10 years masterfully renovating every inch of this fabulous property.
This Bed & Breakfast is the realization of a passion project and an expression of the love that unites our family.

We love authenticity and want to share our joie de vivre. Come let your hair down in our one-of-a-kind B&B!
Location
The House and our Guest Rooms close to Montpellier
Les Nuits Pétillantes offers several shared living spaces:
SUMMER COOKING :
Breakfasts are prepared and served in the summer kitchen between 8 and 10 am every day. Guillaume is a pastry chef, remember? I let you imagine the home-made buffet, a farandole of colours and flavours!
If you wish to dine on the spot, we offer (on order) boards of cold meats and/or cheeses to share.
During your stay you will find in the summer kitchen :
- To nibble: sweet treats (fruit, homemade ice cream, biscuits, etc.) and savoury savoury products from our producers (jars, terrines, ready meals, tapenades, olives...),
- To quench your thirst: local fruit juices, homemade lemonades,
- To discover and toast: a selection of wines from nearby estates, champagnes and beers brewed in a nearby village,
At your disposal to enhance your evenings for two, with family or friends.
THE LARGE LIVING ROOM :
In 2010, the former lemonade shop was a huge empty building, almost 8 metres high. Today, the first floor, created by Audrey and Guillaume, is home to the guest house's large lounge. This beautiful space under the roof, bathed in light thanks to its large glass roof, offers a breathtaking view of the gardens and the esplanade of Cournonterral. In the evening, the atmosphere is cosy and hushed. You will enjoy sitting in an armchair to read, play a game of pool, share an aperitif or do nothing at all.
